Th...Funny, to talk of minorities in Czechoslovakia. There were about 5 million Czechs, 3.5 million Germans, perhaps 3 million Slovaks, 500000 Hungarians and small numbers of Ruthenians, Poles and Jews. The Germans were surely not a minority, but rather the second- ord third-largest polpulation group, incorporated into the Czechoslovakia after a military occupation of he German-inhabited areas of Bohemia by the Czech military. This was afterwards given the blessing of the League of Nations.<br />It's that easy to create an inhuman reality and blame the victim for one's own crimes. Neither Poles nor Czechs thought about the future in which they could look into the mirror and not be ashamed of what their national ethics would allow them to do.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
