Answer: A yarmukel.
Also known as a skull cap worn worn by observant jews. If not observant (as most Eastern European jews aren't) then, worn at court when facing criminal charges and trying to elicit sympathy from the judge (or as subtle reminder to the judge of who they are messing with).
I was under the impression that emigrees from Russia (ex-Soviet Union), whether jews or gentiles, were smarter to fall for such scheme as that of this bogus doctor who sexually abused his females cancer patients while charging them up to $1000 / session.
The examination of the female cancer patient involved invasive fondling of female breast and genitalia and the treatment included the insertion of yogurt in their vagina. The news article does not mention what instrument the bogus doctor utilized for the insertion of the lacto-bacillus bulgaricus into the female's private parts.
I am reminded of H.L. Mencken's assessment of Eastern European jews as " too incompetent to swindle even the barbarous peasants of Russia, Poland and Rumania" (ergo, that is why they emigrated to America).*

This operation claimed many victims over a period of years (most victims having no inkling they had been victimized). Some naive extra-terrestrial or cave-man will be forgiven for wondering how such a blatantly unlawful, criminal practice could go on for so long undisturbed by authorities. But in the land of the free and home of the brave, even the most foolhardy law enforcement officer has to think twice before threading on the business of one of the chosen, considering that safer targets abound all over the place.
