Hi John,
I was born 15 years after WW2 and grew up watching Hogan's Hero's. My Grandparents immigrated the the US in the 1800's and I am almost half German. I was relatively embarrassed growing up to have German blood.
I sat through 2 ~5-hour sessions of Shoah in 1985 or 86' with a close friend and believed the testimonies. I read "The Rise and fall of the 3rd Reich" and believed what was written. I've read/seen everything submitted by David Cole, watched the movie http://www.onethirdoftheholocaust.com/, read "War is a Racket" written by one of my heroes (I'm a former recon Marine). I read the entire discussion on this topic in this forum and the one that proceeded it and yes, it took a while.
Please explain why most believers will not debate real issues. Why won't they budge on the 6 million figure? Why are they unwilling to consider that as we learn more, historical facts are revised?
I pasted the 5-part introduction knowing I would get a reply and I would then enter the discussion. I am not a drive-by but I understand why you called me that. I am also nowhere near an expert. The 5-part paste covers the essentials of what I now believe. I've studies the back-and-forth in this forum and am impressed with how the folks who do not believe it happened handle themselves. It amazes me how the believers rarely contribute information that has substance. Most entries seemed to be based upon emotion. I'm disappointed in the lack of civility in the discussion. What about the law against denying it in Germany? Aren't people entitled to their opinion?
Please watch this and let us know what you think? It seems to me that this is a perfect example of the problems with the story.

What book would you recommend? I trust that the non-believers will summarize your recommendation. I just want to know the truth.

hid light Head lights are one of the last things we think about replacing - until it's too late. They are an extremely important safety feature that many people forget to maintain. Old head lights can go out suddenly leading to dangerous driving, tickets from law enforcement, or worst of all: an accident.so thank you for sharing it with us
