I'm surprised that the Tribe media moguls haven't spun this into a positive thing as they have with other abhorrent Hebraic practices. For example: 1) Circumcision is not genital mutilation but rather good hygiene
2) The mikvah bath is not degrading to women but instead a pleasurable spa experience
3) the sucking of a newly circumscribed infant's penis by a rabbi is not a form of sexual perversion but a way of imparting a natural antiseptic to a recent wound
4) Kosher slaughter, whereby a fully conscious animal has its throat cut and its trachea is ripped out by a hook is far more humane than stunning the animal and then killing it with a single bolt to the head. --joe
