Alyssa1982 says: "After reading this article and these comments its clear how little Americans know about Jewish life. Firstly saying the morning prayers is the obligation of every adult male and we don't care where we are or how much it creeps you out." And there you have it, folks. A completely selfish and uncaring attitude from a defender of this faith. She does not care how this impacts others. I guess this sums up why some Orthodox Jews attempt to tell non-Jews how they should dress, what they should eat and what side of the street they are supposed to walk on in certain Brooklyn neighborhoods. There is nothing wrong with worshipping as you please. But one should take into consideration how certain aspects of your worship looks to others. To fail to do so invites not only suspicion, but intolerance.

Peace.

What sort of TRUTH is it that crushes the freedom to seek the truth?
