NJ naval station on lockdown after report of shots fired

Lakehurst Naval Air Station in Lakehurst, New Jersey was locked down Monday after there were reports of shots fired, the Trentonian reported.
Officials were conducting a K9 search for a man who jumped a fence at the naval station, according to the report.
Officers with the New Jersey State Police Aviation Unit and a SWAT team were involved in the hunt.
Authorities were also looking for a FedEx truck that entered the base but did not deliver a package. The driver of the vehicle may be carrying a handgun, according to the Trentonian.
