EAIF: Jewish Gangs Commits Hate Crimes in Seattle -- Swastikas on Yeshiva Suddenly No Big Deal When identity of Perpetrators Is Discovered

Mercer island is a wealthy, very Jewish island suburb near Seattle.

I think the name Kadish is Jewish. I think that explains the very light maximum sentence that is envisioned for this "hate crime". Looking up "Kadish" means "Holy" in both Aramaic and Hebrew.

In addition, this hate crime just vanished from the news once it was discovered that "Kadish" did it. And it had been a VERY BIG story in Seattle, including nightly interviews with outraged rabbis on every channel every night.

Once again, the complex determination of whether a crime is a hate crime shows that hate crimes are not real, for example weighing the race, religion and identity of the perp as well as the victims, except insofar as they are actual crimes. So, a Jew spraying racist hate graffiti on a Catholic church is not a hate crime, but rather just a good joke.

"Mercer Island: Three Teens Accused in Hate Crimes", in Seattle Times, November 14, 2010. p. B3.

Three teens accused of spray painting swastikas and other graffiti on three Mercer Island schools were charged with malicious harassment (the Washington State hate crime statute). Jared Kadish, 19, and two 17 year old boys, are charged in the vandalism.

The vandalism started on September 14, at Island Park School [an elementary school], where they wrote anti-semitic and anti-police slogans and swastikas. On September 17, similar graffiti was found at St. Monica Catholic School and Northwest Yeshiva High School.

After he was identified, Kadish, attending school in Los Angeles, returned to Seattle to turn himself in. He faces a maximum sentence of nine months in jail. The Kadish family attorney has issued an apology for Kadish's actions.

==========

I would add that  Fox 13-News on September 18 showed graffiti at St, Monica which included anti-Chinese, anti-White and anti-Catholic graffiti.

And it was revealed that a massive security infrastructure has been erected to protect every Jewish facility in Washington State, the so-called Blue Zone program of the Department of Homeland Security. Ironically, Kadish was identified by the surveillance cameras that were part of the heavily secured, fenced, surveilled and fortified Yeshiva High School: Without the SAFE Washington Network infrastructure, Kadish would not have been photographed. Here is one report on SAFE Washington Network:

First-of-its kind security network provides training, information for local Jewish agencies
Leyna Krow • Assistant Editor, JTNews
Posted: June 26, 2009

Representatives from nine of the Seattle Jewish organizations that make up the SAFE Washington network gathered at Temple De Hirsch Sinai on Capitol Hill on the afternoon of June 10 to discuss a topic that was foremost in the minds of everyone present — security.

Earlier that day, an 88-year-old gunman had opened fire at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington D.C., killing a museum guard. This incident was not the impetus for the group's meeting, but it lent an immediacy to the day's discussion.

SAFE Washington is a community-wide communications and disaster response network, which began originally as a partnership between Temple De Hirsch Sinai and the Anti-Defamation League in response to the 2006 shooting at the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle. The Federation has since stepped in to help coordinate SAFE Washington's efforts, acting as a central contact point for all participating agencies.

SAFE Washington formally launched in September and coordinates safety plans and training classes for employees of Jewish facilities. SAFE also provides near real-time updates on developing security concerns on both the local and national level from safety information sharing service Northwest WARN.

According to Kim Greenhall, director of community services for the Jewish Federation, there are currently about 45 agencies signed up for SAFE Washington, and it's still growing.
"We got a number of calls after last week from others who want to join," she said. "The shooting at the Holocaust Museum is reminding people about this."

SAFE Washington partner institutions are assisted by Setracon, a Tacoma-based security company owned and operated by Jeff and Nancy Slotnick.

At the June 10 meeting, Jeff Slotnick offered his recommendations for how local organizations ought to respond to the shooting in Washington D.C. with regard to their own security interests.

"We are recommending a high state of vigilance for the next 24 hours or so," Skolnick said. "These lone wolf type incidents can be catalysts for others."

Slotnick also reviewed the steps employees should take if they see a suspicious person or object on the premises of their facility. He advised screening all visitors who come in, keeping an eye on parking lots for suspicious or unfamiliar vehicles and, if in doubt about a developing situation, to just go ahead and call the police.

"Law enforcement agrees that it's better for them to have to come out by mistake than for you to hesitate," he said.

The meeting also addressed the shooting at an army recruitment center in Arkansas a week earlier, as well as recommendations for dealing with the Westboro Baptist Church's protests, which took place at a number of local Jewish organizations June 13–15. The next meeting, which will be held in August, will be about keeping synagogues safe during the High Holidays.

According to Slotnick, SAFE Washington is the first safety network of its kind in the United States, although he noted that the model could easily be replicated by any micro-community.

Larry Broder, executive director for Temple De Hirsch Sinai added that, the more organizations that participate within the community, the stronger the network will become. Also, when incidents do occur, it is important for every agency that might be impacted to have the same information about what's going on.

"I can't stress how important it is for as many of us as possible to be involved in this," Broder said.

Slotnick added that all SAFE Washington partners were notified of the shooting at the Holocaust Museum within minutes of the incident.

"Had this been in the greater Seattle area, we could have had everyone locked down in the same amount of time," he said.

But the network isn't just about sharing information related to terrorism, Slotnick said. It's also a way to keep agencies informed in the event of natural disasters or other community-wide concerns.

In April, when worries about a Swine Flu Pandemic first emerged, SAFE Washington disseminated tips provided by Northwest WARN for avoiding infection and containing outbreaks to all participating agencies.

Of course, receiving information about possible threats is only a small part of both SAFE Washington and the overall safety of participating agencies. Ultimately, Slotnick insisted, organizations must remain responsible for their own safety and security by having clear security procedures in place and making sure staff know what steps to take in an emergency.

"We need to make sure our plans are in practice, not just in a folder on a desk," he said, "and it never hurts to do a drill every now and then."

The Worm in Iran's Nuclear Program: Made in Israel?

The Worm in Iran's Nuclear Program: Made in Israel?

    Time.com
By KARL VICK / JERUSALEM Karl Vick / Jerusalem Mon Jan 17, 4:40 am ET

Just going by the papers, it's been a busy couple of months for the Mossad, the Israeli spy agency. Saudi Arabia nabbed a vulture wearing a transmitter from Tel Aviv University, hard evidence not of avian research but of a "Zionist plot." The mangled body of an elderly German woman washed up off an Egyptian resort bearing bite marks from a shark. But whose shark? "What is being said about the Mossad throwing the deadly shark in to hit tourism in Egypt is not out of the question," the South Sinai governor was quoted as saying. "But it needs time to confirm." The half-baked always does.

No one was laughing, however, at the report in Sunday's New York Times, a 2,800-word assessment of Israeli involvement in Stuxnet, the computer worm that wreaked havoc with Iran's nuclear program, sending centrifuges into wild gyrations that brought down perhaps 1,000 of the contraptions whose spinning enriches uranium that Israel fears will end up in atomic weapons that would be pointed its way. The newspaper said Israel, in cooperation with Washington, tested the worm on the exact same centrifuge model, known as P-1, that Israeli intelligence had set up at its own Dimona nuclear facility in the Negev Desert in the country's south. (Is the Mossad targeting Iran's scientists?)

"It's good that the Iranians think we have these capabilities," a senior Israeli intelligence official told TIME, taking care not to confirm the specific deployment of capabilities that Israel is widely known to, in fact, possess.

The Jewish state has a robust high-tech research industry, a private sector nourished on the financial side by global venture capital and on the far more important human side by a stream of veterans of elite units of the Israel Defense Forces. The units are devoted to computer science and warfare, and bear dashingly nerdy names like 8200 and 8153, the latter known simply as Eight One to members of the other government security bodies it brings together in joint operations.

These include a foreign intelligence agency, the Mossad, that has become a major employer of the nerd vets, ramping up its technological capacity hugely under the eight-year tenure of Meir Dagan. Dagan, a rumpled figure who paints huge canvases in his spare time, formally left the spy agency last week, but not before gathering Israeli reporters together to make an important announcement. Iran's nuclear program, he said, has sustained so much damage that the earliest it could produce an atomic weapon would be 2015. The date pushed back by four years the last public estimate, and was apt to change again. Dagan made clear that 2015 was the earliest Iran could produce a warhead if its program suffered no further setbacks starting from today - in other words, if Israel, the U.S. and other worried parties stopped trying to derail it. (See how the false rumor about Meir Dagan's death in 2008 got started.)

Only some of that effort has come to light. The Times reported that whatever Stuxnet has already done, by taking over the German-made Siemens computers that operate the centrifuges, the alien software may well hold malevolent code yet to be heard from. And for years before the famous worm was implanted, U.N. inspectors detected other technical setbacks in the Iranian program. Some likely resulted from equipment foreign intelligence agencies arranged to have sold to Iran. In a process as delicate as nuclear engineering, a machine relied upon to produce specific measurements could, for example, if deliberately programmed to produce incorrect readings, likewise produce delays and frustration, at the least.

Then there's the assassinations of Iranian nuclear scientists. Last week, state-controlled news agencies in Iran displayed a young man who claimed to have killed Masoud Ali Mohammadi at the direction of Israeli intelligence. The scientist perished a year ago when a remote-controlled bomb was detonated under his car, a method that Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad described as "Zionist-style," Mossad hit teams having combined personal automobiles and remote-controlled bombs since the 1970s.

In November, Majid Shahriari was killed in similar circumstances. The nuclear engineer was identified as the top scientist in the Iranian nuclear program, a figure whose removal would create a significant loss in institutional knowledge. Another nuclear scientist, with ties to the Revolutionary Guards, survived an assassination attempt the same day.

Reflexive is the word for Iran's immediate attributing to the "Zionist entity" almost anything it doesn't like. But when it comes to mayhem in the Iranian nuclear program, the enterprise that Israel has for years regarded as by far the greatest threat to its existence, Israeli officials barely muster denials. News media in Israel are constrained by censorship rules when reporting on national security, but the press is permitted to pass along what's reported in foreign outlets. So Iran's parading of its alleged Mossad operative was widely reported in Israel, along with photos of the guns and passports Iranian authorities claimed to find with him. (Comment on this story.)

The Times report was also widely quoted, though not with the relish of Dagan's farewell briefing to Israeli reporters. There, in a transparent warning to hawks, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the outgoing spy chief emphasized that the Iranian nuclear program was in such trouble that it would be rash and counterproductive for Israel to send warplanes to bomb it.

And with that, Dagan turned over the director's chair to the longtime deputy of the Mossad. Tamir Pardo comes to the job with 30 years of experience in the agency, notably in operations and technology.

    Kevin MacDonald's Daily Show Adventure

    By Kevin MacDonald

Jared Taylor just had a nice column at VDARE.com on his adventures following absolutely groundless news reports that Arizona shooter Jared Lee Loughner was linked to Taylor'sAmerican Renaissance. His account says a lot about how Political Correctness is enforced in the mediaPolitico, having eagerly picked up the story that Loughner was linked to AR, happily agreed to run Taylor's account of how he stood up to the smear. But his article was pulled, just after Taylor sent the following description of AR at her request to Politico Opinion Editor Allison Silver [Email her]:

"My magazine takes a conservative position on race and immigration and argues that diversity of the kind we are supposed to be celebrating is a weakness for the country, not a strength."

Silver claimed that "there has been too much of a time lag".  Taylor comments sarcastically:

"We really do live in fast-moving times, don't we? A story can go from 'fascinating' and 'swell' to stale news in less than 12 hours. Or even from 'Got it, thanks!' to stale news in a little over an hour."

A strikingly similar thing happened to me last summer, during the Elena Kagan SCOTUS confirmation process.

I got an email from Miles Kahn, [Email him] a producer of The Daily Show, inviting me to go to New York to film an interview with Samantha Bee, one of the show's reporters.

It was a tough decision—several people I asked said it was a bad idea. Ms. Bee is famous for skewering unwary interviewees, as in this bit on "A San Antonio good Samaritan [who] uses camera-mounted rifle technology to allow disabled hunters to shoot live exotic animals via the Internet". And, of course, the show gets to edit the interview. (On the advice of a friend, I asked to tape the interview myself, but—perhaps significantly—Kahn refused.) Still, I eventually agreed, perhaps on the theory that there is no such thing as bad publicity.

So I flew across the country, at The Daily Show's expense, showed up at The Daily Show studio on the far west side of Manhattan at 9:00AM for what would be a 3-hour session that would be later cut to fit the format. Ms. Bee, the "always pregnant lady", was very pregnant with her third child at the time—probably a record for well-off White career women in New York. I was tempted to congratulate her for being a paragon of White fertility but restrained myself. Kahn sat in with us.

The ostensible reason for the interview: I had written some blogs on the Elena Kagan nomination, which was a particular obsession of mine (see herehereherehere, hereandhere.)  Main theme: How can someone with absolutely no scholarly qualifications or any other relevant experience get nominated to the highest court in the land? Answer: Ethnic networking. Two other blogs dealt with the Kagan nomination as a symptom of the decline of WASP America(see here and here). This point (which had been separately albeit blandly raised in some MSM commentary) was to be the focus of the interview. It just goes to show you that you never know who is reading your stuff!

Quite a bit of the interview was on how Justice John Paul Stevens, whose retirement occasioned Kagan's nomination, exemplifies the pathologies of WASP America: The ultimate non-ethnic actor. I thought I might as well get something out of my trip to New York, so I subsequently posted my interview notes on my Occidental Observer webzine: John Paul Stevens as Prototypical WASP Main theme: Stevens was principled to a fault, and he is naïve to think that non-Whites are as principled as he is. I wrote:

"Stevens and [David] Souter are naive. Their devotion to ideas and principle along with similar attitudes of a very large number of like-minded Whites will cast a long, deadly shadow as we head into the future.  All the research shows that ethnically divided societies are prone to conflict and have less of a civic sense — for example, people in ethnically divided societies are less likely to contribute to public goods like health care. The new elite is much more likely to act out their historical grudges against the White majority than to uphold WASP ideals. Ethnicity matters." [VDARE.com links added]

Of course, it could be said that Kagan is principled too—the principle being "Is it good for the Jews?"—but that's a whole other ballgame.

I added another detail in my interview with Bee that somehow never got into my other writing on Kagan. After managing to get tenure at the prestigious University of Chicago Law School with almost no publications, Kagan went to work for the Clinton administration. After failing to be confirmed as a judge on the U.S. District Court of Appeals, she tried to return to her tenured position at the University of Chicago, but was rejected because of her lack of commitment to scholarship.

Kagan then got a non-tenured visiting professor position at Harvard—a very low rung on the academic totem pole (although admittedly a pretty prestigious pole). But shortly thereafter, she miraculously became dean of Harvard Law, as a result of the actions of someone whose Jewish identity and commitment have never been a secret—as New York Magazine's Jason Zengerle put it[(Judging Kagan, May 14, 2010]: "Were it not for [Larry] Summers [who had worked with her in the Clinton Administration], she would probably be grading law-school finals right now rather than prepping for her Senate confirmation hearings."

To paraphrase Mel Brooks' line, it's good to have Jewish connections.

A memorable moment in our interview of the decline of the WASPs was when I informed Bee that Ralph Lauren (nee Lifshitz) is Jewish. Apparently this was news to her and she pretended to start sobbing uncontrollably. I apologized for shattering her illusions!

After the Kagan-Stevens thing, the interview veered into unexpected territory. Kahn was busy passing questions to Bee on a whole range of topics. I talked about Jewish media influence, Bee joking "you should see what it's like around here!" Shades of Rick Sanchez! (The Daily Show's star, Jon Stewart, was born Jonathan Stuart Leibowitz).

Ms. Bee seemed surprised that I was not a WASP—that I grew up Catholic in a small city in Wisconsin. There seemed to be an effort to get me to say bad things about the WASPs I had known.

But my general message was that what did in the WASPs were the traits like moral idealism so characteristic of John Paul Stevens — not exactly the image that plays well in the media. I told them that I always thought that I could have become part of the WASP club myself if I had just decided to take up golf and get a job where I would make a bit more money than college professors make. In sociology-speak, the boundaries separating me from them were permeable. Indeed, one of my childhood friends was a wealthy Catholic who was well ensconced in the local country club WASP milieu.

I was asked about anti-WASP movies, the classic being Caddyshack where WASPs are depicted as snobbish, dishonest, vain, pompous, dim-witted, and sexually repressed. I forgot to mention that our local Jewish surgeon (there were maybe two Jewish families in town) was also member of the local country club scene—but he behaved nothing like the Rodney Dangerfield character inCaddyshack.

I was also asked about my affiliation with American Third Position party. I kept reiterating the point that everyone has ethnic interests  and that people who don't have a sense of ethnic identity and interests will simply lose out to those that do—a knockdown argument if ever there was one. Bee paraphrased the argument as urging Whites to "get in the game". Sounds like a good slogan for A3P!

I was told that the piece would run in a week or two. But nothing happened. Eventually, Kagan was officially confirmed. Not long after, Kahn sent me an email saying "I wanted to let you know that due to circumstances beyond my control, the piece featuring your interview won't be airing.  I'm so sorry we weren't able to feature it, but this happens from time to time."

    Oh, well.

Of course, one never really knows why the interview wasn't aired. Maybe it genuinely was no longer topical.

But the suspicion must be that, as with Politico and Jared Taylor, the senior media honchos do not want discussions of race, White identity and interests, or Jewish influence in a way that gets outside the box of Political Correctness.

Lower-ranking MSM operatives apparently don't always get this message, but they are brought up pretty sharply.

The only exceptions are Archie Bunker types who can be easily skewered. I have no doubt whatever that if the interview had aired, I would have come across as a nut case.

And of course, from MSM point of view, they are absolutely right. The greatest power of the MSM is the power to define the boundaries of acceptable political discussion. The ideas I was expressing must be seen as espoused only by people who are uneducated, criminal and/or mad. Hence the fervent desire to find that Jared Lee Loughner had ties to White advocacy.

Until this intellectual monopoly is broken—as the internet is to some extent doing—there will be no movement on big issues like immigration, especially legal immigration.

And anti-White organizations will continue to have the doomsday weapon: being able to end careers with charges of "racism" and "anti-Semitism" simply for writing or saying things that are well-thought out, reasonable, and factually-based—but beyond the pale.

The good news for me: it was a learning experience in how the media elite works.

And I greatly enjoyed dinner with supportive friends on the night before the interview. They can't take that away from me.
