A low budget movie that was very well done and Correctly showed German soldiers as very very normal everyday human beings was 'LETTERS FROM THE DEAD' and although many of the actors were amateur they certainly did an absolute excellent portrayal of the everyday 'Landser' in the field and it even carries quite a lot of humour at a terrible stage of the war.
When we see the absolute trash being churned out and funded by the usual masters of deceit this movie is a blast of fresh air and certainly is a worthy movie for the collectors amongst us. What is also well done is the Wehrmacht soldiers speak German and the Italian forces obviously Italian and the Americans of course English and with it the typical cultural differences also come through in a clever way..
