Speaking to several dozen people, Mr. Carmichael said that the cities of the northeastern U.S. which were "once at the forefront of American innovation and industry" have "since become a crude melting pot for Third World invaders." Fortunately, Mr. Carmichael said, European Americans have an "extraordinarily high concentration of the best of our people in this area. The Northeast corridor is rapidly becoming one of the most challenging parts of the country, much like our party's flagship operation in Southern California," Mr. Carmichael said. "We represent the pioneering spirit of our European forbears who collectively asserted our interests on this continent and are fast becoming the authoritative voice on European American matters in the same way that the NAACP speaks for blacks and La Raza for mestizos," he continued. "The accomplishments of the A3P over the last several months gives us great confidence in the future of the party. Amongst other things, we have received enthusiastic support at Tea Parties around the mid-Atlantic, garnered multiple inquiries at ethnic festivals where we network and distribute A3P literature, and our tabling and door-to-door outreach successfully presents a human face to those who we wish to reach for our common cause. "We are involved in electoral activities, promoting candidates working on behalf of our people, especially Harry Bertram who is running for a County Board of Education seat in West Virginia," Mr. Carmichael said. After his speech, a spirited question and answer session followed which featured a number of other issues such as legal aid, the need for individual entrepreneurship, and the protection of the environment. |

The report, published by the American Council on Education (ACE), said that "despite enrollment gains by minorities in the past decade," two-thirds of undergraduate degrees were awarded to white students in 2007. In a special part of the report dealing exclusively with Hispanics, the report said Hispanic immigrant degree attainment is 14 percent, compared with U.S.-born Hispanics at 25 percent. "Equality in education for all Americans remains a somewhat elusive goal that we must strive to reach," ACE president Molly Corbett Broad was quoted as saying. The report, funded by the GE Foundation, did not even to try address the issue of why this achievement gap persists decade in and decade out despite the most frenetic liberal attempts to close it. Significantly, the report urged "greater investment in alternative education and training programs to better serve that demographic" — in other words, even more money should be spent on Latinos. The report mentioned that Hispanics still have the lowest high school completion rates of any group, at 70 percent. Once again, the cause for this lag is never addressed. "When it comes to college, the Hispanic record is similarly mixed. In 2008, 28 percent of traditional college-age Hispanics were in college, up from 17 percent two decades earlier," the report sid., "But other racial groups made greater gains, and an enrollment gap that has whites ahead of Hispanics has widened. Young Hispanic men are lagging farther behind young Hispanic women." Hispanic racial activist Deborah Santiago, vice president of policy and research for Excelencia in Education, which advocates for "Hispanic college success," said that the report revealed "where we really need to act." Among the other findings, based on U.S. Department of Education data: - Between 1997 and 2007, total nonwhite enrollment on U.S. campuses grew 52 percent to 5.4 million, while the number of white students grew 12 percent, to 10.8 million. - Nonwhites accounted for 30 percent of the college student population, up from 25 percent. One day, possibly, liberals will be forced to confront the issue of why, despite years of affirmative action, special funding, and blatant anti-white discrimination, people of Third World-origin populations still fail to achieve First World standards. Until then, the delusion will persist, and American educational standards will continue to be lowered. |

In something that sounds more like a script to Frasier or Seinfeld, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has started holding an official hearing into the issue of credit checks being run on employees. The hearing is the result of complaints that the practice of checking the credit histories of job applicants "discriminates against blacks and Latinos who tend to have lower credit scores." Astonishingly, four states have already passed laws limiting credit checks as a result, and similar bills have been introduced in 20 other states and Congress. "It is a practice that we believe is both harmful and unfair to American workers," a person named Chi Chi Wu, who is apparently a counsel for the National Consumer Law Center, told the EEOC hearing. (A quick review of Ms. Wu's background reveals that she is a member of the racially–based Asian Pacific American Agenda Coalition, which tells readers all they need to know about her support for nonwhite racial organizations.) The EEOC, which is the taxpayer-funded organization dedicated to ensuring that white Americans are always put last in work opportunities through its support for and encouragement of affirmative action programs, is now under the chairmanship of longtime black supremacist activist and President Obama-appointee Jacqueline Berrien. Addressing the first EEOC hearing, Ms. Berrien said that "background checks disproportionately impact minorities." As usual, the issue of why credit checks affect nonwhites more than whites is ignored in the rush to blame whites and "white racism" in particular. It is perfectly understandable that people seeking employment might fall on hard times until they secure new employment. Discrimination against such a person would clearly be unfair and wrong. But why would it affect nonwhites more than whites? A white person without an income is as likely to get into financial difficulty as a nonwhite person, so why the special exception being made for the latter group of people? Part of the answer came from the employers' submission to the EOCC hearing. Lawyers representing employers told the sitting that no one would be discriminated against purely on the outcome of a credit check, and that they were looking for telltale "trends and indicators" which would indicate a pattern most likely to lead to dishonesty from an employee. This then, is the most likely reason why credit checks are going to be outlawed: they reveal a racial trend which the liberal establishment would rather simply cover up and hide. |
