ACTIVIST ALERT: Conservative Catholics rehabilitate the Talmud
Dear Fellow Christian
Please visit this Amazon URL (below) to read, free of charge, portions of the book "Jesus and the Jewish Roots of the Eucharist":
Once there, follow these simple steps:
When you are at the page, in the upper left, click on" "Click to look inside"
You will then see a box that says "Search inside this book."
Enter the word "Talmud" in the box. Then click and select some of the results for the various pages (for example, p. 41 is revealing).
By this means you will have access to significant portions of the book's most reprehensible Talmudic content, without cost.
"Jesus and the Jewish Roots of the Eucharist" represents brazen rehabilitation of the reputation of the Babylonian Talmud by leading "conservative" Catholic academics (Dr. Brant Pitre and his endorser, Prof. Scott Hahn). It is published by Doubleday, bears the Catholic imprimatur and is a bestseller.
I have briefly reviewed the book at the Amazon page, as well as posting a comment to the "Sister Mary Agnes" review on the same page (http://tinyurl.com/4lj3abk).
Anyone who is reasonably familiar with the Talmud and the Bible and is registered with Amazon, is urged to submit a pithy, critical review of this subversive, double-minded tome. It is obvious from the votes for and against my own contrarian review, that hundreds of Christians are visiting the book's Amazon page every day. This affords us a golden opportunity to provide our input on the book's own Amazon page. By so doing we will not only raise questions in reader's minds but spark a debate. We should not miss this opportunity. Right now, partisans of the book dominate and critics are outnumbered. Will you help alter this imbalance and gain a larger audience for the Truth?
Sales of my own book, Judaism Discovered, have increased since I submitted my review along with an accompanying "Amazon product link."
Caveat: Those who submit an invective-charged, or hateful, negative review, will be regarded as agent provocateurs; one can be firm and candid in a review without being gratuitously insulting. The latter only does us damage.
Sincerely in Christ,
Michael Hoffman
