Revisionist Frederick Toben's rights defended

Revisionist Frederick Toben's rights defended (again) by Michael Brull of ABC television (Australia)

The Strange Case of Defending But Not Daring To Read Dissident Writing

Michael Brull: "...anyone who wants to be taken seriously as a defender of free speech should have supported the right to free speech of Frederick Toben. Toben, for those wondering, is an even more odious figure (than Andrew Bolt). He defied a court order to not peddle his Holocaust-denial on the internet, for which he was sent to jail for three months. For predictable personal reasons, I find Toben an extremely offensive figure. Yet he too has a right to free speech. His case was arguably more disturbing than Bolt's, because Toben is part of a fringe minority that is easily silenced: a fate one hardly predicts for Bolt. It is when opinions are considered particularly offensive and outrageous that it is most important to defend their right to public expression. As much as I disapprove of Bolt's writings, as disgusting as I imagine Toben's are (I cannot bring myself to read them), their rights to say things I don't like should be defended."

Hoffman's comment: I am thankful for Brull's latest defense of the rights of Dr. Toben, but I cannot let the absurdity of Brull's statement, "...as disgusting as I imagine Toben's are (I cannot bring myself to read them)..." pass without an observation. If Brull's confession of deliberate ignorance of Toben's writings had been uttered by a clergyman about Charles Darwin's writing, it would be hooted down from here to Timbuktu. Yet, in the revisionist context, it becomes a kind of self-exculpation ("predictable personal reason"): I'm too weak to entertain someone's doubts about Nazi execution gas chambers. I dare not lose my faith in the gassings. All I can muster in terms of courage is opposition to an inquisition against the doubters.

Brull is timid, but not completely so, and since we must take what we can get these days, we will have to settle for his acrobatics, until someone with a bit more intellectual curiosity comes along. We note that even Noam Chomsky uses this self-defense while acknowledging the rights of Dr. Robert Faurisson: I have not read his books. (Faurisson insists that Prof. Chomsky has read his revisionist writing; Chomsky insisted to this writer, at the conclusion of a graduate linguistics class at the University of Southern California many years ago, that he had not). What would we say to an intellectual who stated, "I will defend Darwin, but I will not read him"?

"...when you have laws against questioning the Holocaust narrative, you are screaming at the other person to stop thinking!!!" ---Michael Santomauro, March 23, 2011

Being happy–is it good for the Jews? "Before Professor Dershowitz accused me of being an anti-Semite (news to me), I was a happy person. Since then, I'm still a happy person". –Michael Santomauro

An anti-Semite condemns people for being Jews, I am not an anti-Semite.--Michael Santomauro

Most of us are mentally trapped to think Jewish. Actually, it is safe to say that virtually every mainstream publication or or other type of media organ is "nothing more than a screen to present chosen views." The great battle over the last century has been a battle for the mind of the Western peoples, i.e., non-Jewish Euros. The chosen won it by acquiring control over essentially the complete mainstream news, information, education and entertainment media of every type, and using that control to infuse and disseminate their message, agenda and worldview, their way of thinking, or rather the way they want us to think. Since at least the 1960s this campaign has been effectively complete. Since then they have shaped and controlled the minds of all but a seeming few of us in varying degree with almost no opposition or competition from any alternative worldview. So now most of us are mentally trapped in the box the chosen have made for us, which we have lived in all our lives. Only a few have managed to avoid it or escape it, or to even sometimes see outside of it, and so actually "think outside of the (Jewish) box." --Michael Santomauro
