Several parents who saw the posts apparently came to Paterson School 21 and asked that their children be removed from her class.
The teacher's name has not been released.
The Paterson school district is said to have ordered the removal of the post earlier this week. In it, the teacher reportedly called her 6 and 7-year-old students "future criminals" and said that she felt like a "warden" handling them.
The school district issued a statement saying that the teacher is on administrative leave with pay and that the matter is a "personnel issue" that is under investigation.
