Almost all of us have strong opinions as well about who the primary beneficiaries are who exploit the scam using the legal and moral arguments of fanatics and bullies. Last month I reported here a brief exchange I had on Facebook, with Alex Linder. Linder had been a student at Claremont College in the 1980s when I submitted a revisionist ad for publication. The ad was rejected, and at the time Linder approved of the decision made by the editor of Student Life. He wrote on Facebook that of course now he looked at the issue much like I look at it—that we're dealing with an intellectual and immoral historical fraud.
