New Preamble of March 12, 2011

 

 In 1986 the "Nazi hunter" Serge Klarsfeld suddenly announced in the French weekly VSD (issue of May 29, p. 37) that scientific evidence was finally about to be published on the existence and operation at Auschwitz, during the war, of those homicidal "gas chambers" (veritable chemical slaughterhouses for human beings) vouched for by so many "testimonies", each one vaguer or more hair-raising than the rest. To that purpose he had turned to a certain Jean-Claude Pressac, a pharmacist of the Paris suburbs. We were going to see what was what! Indeed, three years later! , the Beate Klarsfeld Foundation, based in New York, published under the signature of the said pharmacist a book in English entitled Auschwitz: Technique and Operations of the Gas Chambers (*); 564 pages long, in 45cm x 30cm format, it weighed no less than 2.4 kg.

 

In the account presented below Professor Faurisson seems to have delighted, in his dissection of the enormous work, in showing its weaknesses, aberrations, dishonesty and, to sum up, its unbelievable inanity. The future was to prove him right. In 1993, Pressac made one last, timid attempt by publishing with The Machinery of Mass Murder at Auschwitz (**).

  • Of course they could. To build the atom bomb you just have to understand radioactivity and you need to know that atoms, when they decay, release vast amounts of energy. The knowledge that this energy release also leads to a loss in mass is not important.
    e=mc2 is always true even when the energy involved is small.
    So when black powder explodes it also looses a tiny amount of mass because it doesn't matter if the energy comes from the nuclear forces that hold the core of atoms together or if it comes from electrical forces that power chemical reactions. Energy is always equivalent to mass. But no one would say you need to know e=mc2 to build a black powder bomb.

I have just received the following notice:

We have disabled the following material as a result of a third-party notification from James Allan Khan claiming that this material is infringing:

I think that this is a spurious action; an attempt to infringe my right to freedom of speech and expression under Article 20 of the United Nations Declaration of Human Rights.

While making the video in question I was careful to ensure that any material noted as being the subject of a copyright notice was not used.  Furthermore, I have been unable to find any reference to a person named James Allan Khan on the Internet, using Google's search engine.

As with all of my videos, this one was made for educational purposes; I will not derive any financial benefit from uploading it, and I sincerely think that the material I've used is in the public interest and, therefore, comes under the protection of Fair Use in the copyright law (title 17, U. S. Code) as follows:

Section 107 contains a list of the various purposes for which the reproduction of a particular work may be considered fair, such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research. Section 107 also sets out four factors to be considered in determining whether or not a particular use is fair:

    1. The purpose and character of the use, including whether such use is of commercial nature or is for nonprofit educational purposes
    2. The nature of the copyrighted work
    3. The amount and substantiality of the portion used in relation to the copyrighted work as a whole
    4. The effect of the use upon the potential market for, or value of, the copyrighted work

If the accuser, James Allan Khan can demonstrate otherwise, I will remove the material in question and re-upload the edited video.  If not, I think that it is incumbent on the owners of YouTube to try and prevent Mr. Kahn and others like him from stifling a free exchange of ideas on its otherwise excellent website.

One of the main issues I have with being accused of a copyright infringement, and having one of my videos suspended, more accurately suppressed, is that my accuser was not, apparently, required to make any specific charge as to what image or images or quoted text he has based his claim on (the only musical content in the video is my own work: a single chord).

Accusers should be bound to give YouTube's legal department a reasonable amount of detail regarding the alleged infringement—at the very least the item that has been allegedly infringed—and this should be passed on to the alleged culprit, who should be given a reasonable amount of time to dispute such a claim, before any action is taken.

Shortly, I will be uploading a video regarding this notice, giving others the benefit of what I have learned from what I think is a spurious attack on my right to freedom of expression as well as my time in having to respond to what I regard as a nuisance accusation.

Most of us are mentally trapped to think Jewish. Actually, it is safe to say that virtually every mainstream publication or or other type of media organ is "nothing more than a screen to present chosen views." The great battle over the last century has been a battle for the mind of the Western peoples, i.e., non-Jewish Euros. The chosen won it by acquiring control over essentially the complete mainstream news, information, education and entertainment media of every type, and using that control to infuse and disseminate their message, agenda and worldview, their way of thinking, or rather the way they want us to think. Since at least the 1960s this campaign has been effectively complete. Since then they have shaped and controlled the minds of all but a seeming few of us in varying degree with almost no opposition or competition from any alternative worldview. So now most of us are mentally trapped in the box the chosen have made for us, which we have lived in all our lives. Only a few have managed to avoid it or escape it, or to even sometimes see outside of it, and so actually "think outside of the (Jewish) box." --Michael Santomauro

Imagine If…

Struck smiles as he is charged with torturing a Palestinian youth

If a 15-year-old African-American minor was abducted by a 28 year white man – after chasing the youth down in an open field in an ATV; if the man had stripped the youth and beat him with the butt of a rifle; if all this happened after the same white man slapped the youth and killed the newborn puppy of the black youth in a separate incident; if such a heinous, racially motivated crime occurred in the United States – reminiscent of the darkest times of Jim Crow – the American people would react with complete disgust, anger and bewilderment that such racist cruelty could still exist. Presumably, the man would be thrown in jail for a long time:

  • Kidnapping in the first degree is a class A felony and brings a punishment of up to 30 years in prison
  • Aggravated battery is a class B felony and can result in a fine of $20,000 and probation or up to 10 years in prison. Elevated aggravated assault would earn up to 40 years in prison and a fine of $50,000
  • Intent to cause grievous bodily harm brings a prison sentence of between 6-30  years, a fine of up to $10,000 and up to five year probation
  • Three counts of assault – a class D felony – would land the man in prison for three years and slap him with a $30,000 fine.

All told the maximum sentence could be somewhere around 100 years in prison and a fine of over $100,000. Now imagine that the youth woke up woke up – after being beaten unconscious – and found himself naked, bound, injured and alone in the middle of a field. Presumably, such disgusting, racially motivated crimes would be harshly punished in the United States. As a democracy that holds equality as a core principle, such crimes would be universally condemned and the perpetrator would likely face the maximum sentence.

Now flash to Israel, where a 28 year old settler named Zvi Struck was convicted of this exact crime. In an initial confrontation, Struck slapped the 15-year-old Palestinian victim and killed the boy's baby goat by kicking the animal. In a subsequent confrontation – on Palestinian land – Struck chased down the boy from the village of Kusra in his All-Terrain Vehicle and kidnapped him, beat him and left him unconscious and tied up in a field. The judge in the case noted that Struck undoubtedly harmed the 15-year-old in a "grievous manner" and that he "reviewed the medical records and the difficult photographs that were taken of the complainant immediately after the event, and I cannot avoid expressing disgust and deep shock over the signs of terrible trauma that the minor suffered."

After being convicted of these crimes, Struck requested a lenient sentence from the judge because the man who kidnapped, beat and tortured a 15-year-old Palestinian claimed to be a "law-abiding citizen with no prior convictions." The judge after being overwhelmed by the physical evidence pointing at Struck handed down a sentence – not of 100 years in prison and not a $100,000 fine – of 18 months imprisonment, 1 year of probation and a fine of 50,000 NIS ($14,100).

In the United States, such a crime would be met with a public outcry demanding justice for the assaulted and tortured boy. The criminal responsible would see his face and name rightfully tarnished for years behind the bars of an unforgiving jail cell. In the United States, 18 months in prison is hardly fair for one of the charges that Struck was charged with, much less all four. But Struck did not commit his racially motivated crimes in the United States. He is a settler in Palestine, convicted by Israeli courts that rarely convict settlers of any crimes. Yesh Din, an Israeli Human Rights Organization, recently reported that 90% of complaints filed by Palestinians against Israeli citizens are dismissed. In this context, it is a miracle that Struck was convicted at all.

Unfortunately, Struck is not the only case. Settler violence is common and unlimited. Moreover, this sort of settler terrorism is not only granted general immunity by the Israeli courts (Struck's rare case aside), but it is committed under the watchful eyes of the Israeli military and is becoming increasingly popular among Israelis. In a Ynet-Gersher survey, 46% of the 504 Israelis polled supported settler terrorism under the guise of 'price tag violence;' only 33% said that such terror was never acceptable.

Imagine if this happened in your town and you saw the perpetrator that tortured a youth smiling in the paper. What would your reaction be, knowing that this smiling, smug terrorist would soon be released back into the community? If it was your son that was kidnapped and tortured, and you saw this man smiling in the courtroom, would you consider 18 months in prison to be an appropriate sentence?

Denying Genocide, Beyond the Holocaust

To the Editor:

Professor Deborah E. Lipstadt's insightful essay, "Genocide's Toxic Legacy" (The Chronicle Review, February 18), excerpted from her new book The Eichmann Trial (Schocken Books), pinpoints the central evil of the 20th century, namely, abolitionist anti-Semitism, which is spilling over into the rhetoric of the 21st century. Even after the Holocaust, that anti-Semitism persists stubbornly. Lipstadt rightfully makes the case that the Nazi brand of Jew hatred remains an integral, malignant part of contemporary thought.

Her focus is exclusively on denial of the Holocaust. She omits mentioning the denial of non-Holocaust genocides. One instance is the bitter debate over the status of the Armenian calamity. Academics and poli­ticians are still struggling over the proper term—genocide or massacre. Depending on whom one consults, the issue is by no means resolved.

Another example is the classification of the victimization of the Roma (Gypsies) by the Nazis. What was unseemly about this debate was that the deniers wanted to preserve the "uniqueness" of the Hol­ocaust. Some of those deniers are not far from upholding anti-Semitic tendencies. They need to be exposed.
