Let me first wish you a Happy (if slightly delayed) Purim. It was not my intention to write this blog at this time, although it was in mind for the future. In fact I was just prepared to submit one discussing the spreading fire of discontent and protest in the Arab world, and the obvous involvement of Iran in this, when Libya erupted, and the US sent in cruise missiles. Called for a revision of my blog. Still does, and I still have not gotten to that. Still, at least as regards the Diaspora the issue discussed in the Gibson blog may be more of greater importance than the direction of American policy in the Middle East.
