As part of my recovery from chemo and surgery, I've had some extra time do some reading. I purposely picked books that I though were spiritual in nature and uplifting! So, it was a bit of a surprise when, while reading a most excellent book: "Spontaneous Evolution, Our Positive Future and A Way to Get There from Here", I found that authors Bruce Lipton and Steve Bhaerman have this to say on pg 70:
"As we explore the rise and fall of paradigms along the path of human evolution, it's important to remember that history ultimately belongs to those who write and interpret it and that interpretations tend to corresponds with the notions of those doing the interpreting, Consequently, we must be aware that in addition to parts of story being incorrectly recorded, many interesting and accurate events are often conveniently omitted because their truth didn't fit with the story line that the current 'official' truth provider was presenting"
Now, as all revisionist everywhere know, it's like, duh! This should be obvious to one and all and becomes most glaring when applied to the World Wars, including the ones we're fighting now.
However, I am also amazed at what the authors have to say about Globalization, Health Care and big Pharma! They're spot on. Of course, they do give hope to our evolving as a society but it's going to take a lot of 'sane thinking', the old paradigms must go!
read this book when you can ;)
