Michael, just think, Murray survived 8 different camps!! One can only wonder why he got shipped around so much? Maybe camp #1 just wasn't up to the killing capacity so they traded him to camp #2 for some fresh toilet paper or a pack of cigarettes, only to find out that camp #2 couldn't get the job done! Murray was tougher than all 8 camps, imagine that! Oh, and I love the fact that his wife's suicide in America well after the war was the Nazis fault - it couldn't possibly be due to the fact she was married to Murray?!?!?

What Papa Told Me, written by Felice Cohen, the granddaughter of a Survivor, is the story of Murray Schwartzbaum, a young Jewish boy from Poland, whose courage and sheer will to live helped him survive eight different labor and concentration camps in the Holocaust, start a new life in America, and keep a family intact in the aftermath of his wife's suicide - one of the Nazis' last victims.Memo: Do word search at Amazon's: search in book, for "gas chambers" and there are a few mentions of: "burning bodies in gas chambers". Also another quote: "the Germans denied burning bodies".You can't burn bodies in gas chambers and the Germans never denied burning the dead!!
